Sales Support Ranger

Hybrid | Part-time in Nashville, TN.

Ranger Station is a leading candle and manufacturing company, renowned for high-quality, nature-inspired candles. We are seeking a Sales Support Ranger who will support our sales channels, with an emphasis on wholesale support.

As the Sales Support Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing wholesale customer service and supporting our sales team. You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and ensure a superior customer experience globally. This role is fast-paced and will report to the Director of Retail.

10 - 20 hrs a week, hourly pay | Monthly bonus based on lead generation

Key Responsibilities

Faire Management:

● Manages orders, testers, and customer service on faire with on-brand responses.
● Uses Faire data to translate into highly-organized customer communication
● Weekly email management
● Analyzing and understanding faire for sales optimization
● Collaboration with fulfillment for EDI and Barcoding through fineline technology

 

Lead Generation:

● Effectively use data reports to reach out to customers in a timely and effective manner.
● Positive spirit with on-brand communication to each wholesale partner.
● 15%+ sales activation rate on cold calls
● 48hrs or less response time, M-F (not including weekends)
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure communication is accurate to marketing launches, etc.

 

Events and Tradeshows:

● Ability and willingness to travel up 4 - 8wks of the year, as needed. Supporting Director of Retail with set-up, trade show, and teardown of tradeshow booth.
● Ability to work 3-6 weekends of the year for wholesale partner events.
● Ideally based in Nashville, TN for local travel and client deliveries.

 

Finance:

● Aging AR management with customers

 

Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
● Proven experience in customer service and B2B sales with a focus on both owned retail and wholesale channels.
● Previous work with Asana, and project management skills
● Demonstrated success in an external-facing client role.
● High-level of organization and detail-oriented
● Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
● Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ranger Station Fragrance Guide - Retail Associate

In-Person | Nashville, TN - 12 South

Ranger Station is your destination for premium fragrances and candles inspired by the great outdoors. In our Nashville Fragrance House, we believe life was meant to be an adventure, and scent makes it an experience. 

As a Fragrance Guide at Ranger Station, you will be responsible for leading customers through a fragrance journey. You will be expected to have an unsurpassed knowledge of the product, how it is made, and the Ranger Station story. You must represent the brand well through creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages customers to explore the Ranger Station products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a welcoming, educational shopping experience for all customers
  • Engage with customers to learn their fragrance preferences and recommend products
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of all fragrance and candle contents, ingredients, and manufacturing processes
  • Maintain a clean and organized storefront, including product displays and inventory management
  • Attend and participate in team meetings, training sessions, and events
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and product knowledge

Requirements:

  • Passion for fragrance and candles
  • Comprehensive knowledge of perfume and candle ingredients and manufacturing processes (don’t worry - we’ll help out with this!)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Positive and approachable personality
