PINE CANDLE
Smells like: jack pine sap / crisp morning hikes / cabin getaway
This is PINE, broken down into its purest form and built out into a scent of its own. With notes of Jack Pine Sap, Crispy Mornings, and Cabin Getaways, PINE is an ode to time spent in the Minnesota North Woods. Memories of crisp, early mornings drinking grandad’s black coffee before a hike and afternoons chopping wood for the fire to keep warm once the sun goes down all find their way into PINE’s pure + fresh profile.
Ranger Station started with a single candle: Leather + Pine. Inspired by Steve’s childhood growing up in Minnesota spending time at his grandfather’s cabin. Leather + Pine is still our best-selling candle, and for every anniversary, we’ve distilled it into two new candles which continue to tell the story that started all those years ago.

01. Candles
-
The First Burn
-
The first burn is the most important. Make sure the melt pool reaches all sides of the candle before extinguishing otherwise tunneling can occur.
-
Subsequent Burns
-
Try to make a habit of letting the melt pool always reach the sides of the candle to ensure you capture the candles whole potential. Never exceed 4 hours of burning.
-
Trim Your Wicks
-
Always trim your wicks to 1/4" before every burn so that the candle does not burn faster than it should.
-
Candles To Cocktails
-
All of our 8 oz glass candles are hand poured into cocktail glasses. Here's how to transform them.
-
Place candle in freezer overnight.
-
Run hot tap water over wax to loosen and then remove with wooden utensil.
-
Remove wick tabs from base of glass (they may have come out with the wax already). If they do not remove easily, fill the glass with warm water and dish soap and let them soak.
-
Clean out glass with soap and water.
-
Pour your drink of choice and say 'cheers'.
02. Perfume
-
Use
-
Hold 5-7 inches from body, and spray.
-
Apply to pulse points (neck + wrists).
-
Don't rub. Dab if you would like.
-
A little goes a long way. 2-3 sprays is usually all you need.
-
Care
-
Store in a cool and dry space away from sunlight.
-
Formulation is fresh up until one year from first use.
-
We don't use preservatives. If you notice any settling in the bottle, simply shake to mix.
03. Reed Diffusers
-
Use
-
Open and place reeds into the bottle.
-
Place the bottle on a level surface where it wont be knocked over.
-
Flip the reeds once a month.
-
Oils will last for 3 months.
04. Hand Care
How to Use:
- Dispense: Pump a small amount of hand wash into your hands.
- Lather: Rub your hands together to create a rich lather. Be sure to cover all surfaces of your hands, including between your fingers and under your nails.
- Rinse: Thoroughly rinse your hands with warm water, ensuring all soap is washed away.
- Dry: Gently dry your hands with a clean towel.
Care Instructions:
- Storage: Keep the hand wash bottle stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight to preserve the fragrance and formula integrity.
- Pump Care: If the pump becomes clogged or difficult to press, rinse it with warm water to clear any residue.
- Refill or Recycle: When finished, consider refilling your bottle or recycling it in accordance with local recycling guidelines.
Tips:
- For best results, follow with a moisturizer to keep your skin soft and hydrated, especially during colder months.
- Use regularly to cleanse and refresh without drying out your hands.
