Ranger Station is a leading candle and manufacturing company, renowned for high-quality, nature-inspired candles. We are seeking a Flagship Store Director who will manage our flagship store in Nashville including the internal team and close-knit 12S community, as well as assist in opening additional stores. 

Sales Performance and Operations Management

  • Drive sales to meet budget objectives while ensuring operational integrity and profitability.
  • Analyze monthly store performance and competitor trends comprehensively.
  • Lead sales efforts by consistently engaging with customers on the sales floor and ensuring top-notch service
  • Manage stock levels to maximize full price selling and alignment with new product launches.
  • Train associates on product knowledge and brand strategy.

Performance, Talent Management, and Client Development

  • Oversee performance check-ins and establish goals for all employees.
  • Create action plans and development paths for team members.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Ensure consistent onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Manage staff scheduling to drive sales and elevate customer service.
  • Implement top client strategy to retain and develop high-potential clients.
  • Stay informed on competitors, fashion trends, and industry innovations.

Store Expansion

  • Assist in opening new stores by obtaining necessary permits and coordinating store build-outs.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive launch plans for new store openings, including staffing, marketing, and promotional activities.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to new store managers to ensure successful operation and integration into the company's retail network.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales management experience in retail, luxury retail, or service-related industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred
  • Ability to analyze selling reports, identify business trends, and react quickly to the needs of the business
  • Proven ability to drive positive customer experiences that build loyalty and deliver measurable results
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Industry awareness and strong business acumen
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizational skills
  • Passion for the fragrance industry
  • Flexibility to work a retail schedule which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Director of Operations

Ranger Station is a leading manufacturer and retailer of premium candles and fragrances. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Director of Operations to oversee our manufacturing processes, company communications and product development for Ranger Station as well as our private label business. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, and a strong background in operations management within the consumer goods industry, with a focus on growth, team leadership, and quality control.

This role will be focused on scaling operations, creating and implementing systems, and streamlining communications for growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize all aspects of the manufacturing process for candles and fragrances, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead and supervise the operations team to ensure efficient systems and communication.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve production processes and maximize productivity.
  • Collaborate closely with the product development team to bring new candle and fragrance products from concept to production.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and finance, to align operations with business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience 5 years in operations management within the consumer goods industry, preferably in manufacturing and production of candles or related products.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain management.
  • Experience with ERP systems and production planning tools.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

 

Ranger Station Fragrance Guide - Retail Associate

Ranger Station is your destination for premium fragrances and candles inspired by the great outdoors. In our Nashville Fragrance House, we believe life was meant to be an adventure, and scent makes it an experience. 

As a Fragrance Guide at Ranger Station, you will be responsible for leading customers through a fragrance journey. You will be expected to have an unsurpassed knowledge of the product, how it is made, and the Ranger Station story. You must represent the brand well through creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages customers to explore the Ranger Station products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a welcoming, educational shopping experience for all customers
  • Engage with customers to learn their fragrance preferences and recommend products
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of all fragrance and candle contents, ingredients, and manufacturing processes
  • Maintain a clean and organized storefront, including product displays and inventory management
  • Attend and participate in team meetings, training sessions, and events
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and product knowledge
